Sbarcatore dei Turchi was founded in 2023 as a company operating in the field of tourism intermediation and the organization of excursions and nature trails.

The naturalistic area is known as "Sbarcatore dei Turchi," from which the company takes its name.

Sbarcatore dei Turchi manages booking activities in eastern Sicily, covering the area between Faro Capo Campolato (Brucoli) and Faro Santa Croce—a special experience between the two lighthouses.

Legend has it that in the 16th century, when the Saracens attempted to land, they were driven away by the armies led by Saint Dominic of Guzmán—an event that gave the place its name.

The beauty and charm of Sbarcatore dei Turchi have been described by Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, who fought against the Turks here, and by Tomasi di Lampedusa in his novel The Siren.

More recently, the location has been the backdrop for two films: Casanova '70 by Mario Monicelli and Le Grand Bleu by Luc Besson.

Located along the coastline between Catania and Syracuse, this area is considered one of the most beautiful cliffs in Italy, characterized by white limestone cliffs plunging into the sea.
